    • Follow the footsteps of Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise.
    • Eat delicious traditional French food in the same places than the Impressionists.
In this two days road trip, you will visit two places very famous for Impressionism. In Auvers-sur-Oise, you can visit a lot of places where Vincent Van Gogh spent the last 70 days of his life and where he was very productive so you can see the real places that he painted, where he lived and where he is buried.
In Giverny, you will visit the amazing house and garden of Claude Monet, the father of Impressionism. It is a beautiful place that he painted relentlessly and inspired him his most famous masterpieces. You will also visit museums about impressionism and places that several impressionist painters visited.
To complement this trip, there are three museums that you should visit in Paris before or after this trip: this is where you will see the original paintings of the places you will visit in this trip. Orsay Museum is the best place to see a lot of Impressionists' paintings. Marmottan Monet Museum has the biggest collection of paintings by Monet in the world including "Impression, sunrise" the painting from which originates Impressionism, but it also has paintings by other Impressionist painters. And the Orangerie Museum houses the huge compositions of the Water Lilies by Claude Monet.
